The Hayling College specialises in Maths and Computing and is run by Headteacher Mr Max Bullough.

Throughout their time at The Hayling College, our pupils (both boys and girls, aged 11-16 years) will experience a large and varied curriculum which covers a wide range of learning styles and rewards for effort and achievement.
Our pupils are the people of tomorrow. Here at The Hayling college we offer them many opportunities in order for them to develop talents, character and future ambitions. We support and challenge them to succeed!

Our staff are good role models to demonstrate appearance, attitude, relationships, good behaviour and the ability to both work as a team and independently. By behaving in a positive way and giving the children a positive learning environment we hope they will flourish and succeed in their adult life.

Hi-Rock - Climbed one mile!

On Sunday 25th March staff and pupils at HiRock and The Hayling College climbed one mile in aid of Sport Relief. That meant 230 climbs up the wall. This was completed in three hours. Thank you to all who sponsored us, though it is not too late to add a donation.

To sponsor us please visit our sponsorship page. Thank you.

Also, congratulations to Miss Procter and Debbie Surridge who have recently qualified as climbing instructors.

Statement From The Head

I am extremely proud to be Headteacher of The Hayling College and I believe that staff, parents, children and the community want to be proud of their college too.

Pride comes from being successful and in an age when it is all too easy to see standards fall, the governors and staff here are committed to celebrating the success of all our boys and girls. We encourage academic excellence through serious study in class and at home. We also expect and reward the right sort of behaviour, treating each other and each other’s property with care and consideration, being polite and making positive contributions through sport, the arts and generosity of spirit.

Mr M Bullough, B.Ed.(Hons), M.Sc.
